This classic wheat beer blends gently spicy malt aromas with mildly bitter hops. Its secret lies in Erdinger's unique brewing yeasts. They provide the fruity notes and unmistakably fresh flavour. The finishing touch for every Erdinger Weissbier is a further specialty: the "Bayerische Edelreifung" or double maturity method. After the main fermentation process, Erdinger gives their beer the time it needs to mature a second time in the bottle. This allows its delicious lively nature and the harmonious interplay of its various aromas to fully unfold.

Hazy pale lemon colour; intense, fresh aromas of grapefruit juice with a hint of sweet malt; sweet and tart grapefruit juice flavours with refreshing grapefruit pith and malt in the finish.

Succulent cherry and cocoa with aged oak barrel character. Dynamic sweet and sour interplay. The fruit balances sourness and soothes it with ample wine sweetness and toasty malts. Dark fruit, Caramel, and Fig. It’s success and reputation as a strong ale of the highest quality led to it’s year-round production as Chimay Grande Réserve. Today it is the standard bearer of the Chimay range and has become notorious for its amazing cellaring ability.

Fresh strawberries, coriander, orange zest. Pure strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer resulting in a balanced, soft, & refreshing beer that is simply delicious!

A complex balance of all favourite beer flavours: hoppy, malty, sweet, fruity and most of all: bold. The taste is well characterized by its full-bodied roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and mildly bitter.

Thick but rounded mouthfeel dominated by alcohol warmth and malty flavours. This is followed by a slightly increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.
